The SILKWAY project brings together a total of 9 partners from 9 cities (Bukhara, Cadiz, Jalal-Abad, Osh, Puerto Real, Rome, Santa Marinella, Tashkent, Urgench) and 4 countries (Spain, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan), including representatives of the public sector (7 universities) and the private sector (2 private companies).
The University of Cadiz (Spain) is the project coordinator and features a dedicated center for cooperation with Central Asia — the International University Center for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (CUNEAC). One of the two private partners, SincroWatt6, specialized in electrical installation works, is also Spanish.
